Aust stocks end flat, resource stocks add some bounce

The Australian sharemarket has ended the day nearly flat, with resource stocks adding
some bounce to a generally lacklustre market.

The benchmark all ordinaries index has finished 0.7 of a point lower at 3137.4 points.

On Friday, a resources rally helped put the all ords within seven points of its all-time
high of 3145.2 set on April 27.

The all resources gained nearly one per cent today, adding 13.98 points to 1419.3,
while the all industrials lost 12.1 points to 5370.5.
